Herringbone was commissioned to plan and design an internal intranet site in support of a Network Rail infrastructure project. The intranet site is a key communication channel for the project allowing the company and employees alike to access and share key information across the business. Usability and accessibility were key considerations when developing the site layout, navigation and content.

Responsive site capability was a key requirement of the site design in order to enable Network Rail engineers to access key project information from the office and also out in the field. Having planned out the site layout and functionality the design was configured to allow easy access on multiple platforms.

The result was an intuitive, accessible and user friendly intranet site for employees to use.
