As part of a wider brand re-positioning of the Mayfair Town and Country estate agency chain, Herringbone were tasked with creating an interior shop scheme for the latest addition to the Group in Clevedon from scratch.  The idea was to create a style and experience very different from the usual offering on the High Street. This was now to become a retail space first and office second.

Using the brand colours of grey and dark blue, a traditional scheme was created by restoring the original victorian features of the shop, adding in a chandelier for dramatic effect. A traditional bare stone wall was uncovered and utilized for the property gallery wall and the opposing wall was used as an additional feature wall by painting it in the brand dark blue and adding a giant old map of the local area. Custom pieces of artwork and photography, also created by Herringbone, were added into the scheme.

Instead of individual imposing desks, one large communal desk was designed and covered in large pieces of carrara marble for a dramatic and contemporary contrast. The furniture was a mix of old and new, designed to work together and in the spirit of the new brand.

The result is not an estate agents as you know it.
